As a U of M grad I’m always a bit of a fanboy of EVR. Also absolutely going to describe long par 4 as “dinner time” par 4s now 😂

💯 agree with it’s something mental about that par thing if it is genuine.

I do not understand the point of a par 5 that a PGA pro does not have a chance to reach in two shots with a perfect driver and perfect 3 wood.

Idk man. I think this course represents all that could be wrong about the game of golf. It's massive and cut from a forest, lush green in a place requiring extensive irrigation, super private and exclusive and frankly not even very interesting. I bet the promo money was good tho.

I know that EAL hits the ball pretty far off the tee, whatever his HCP is. But I just don't get the point of him playing golf at 7,800 yards. Like, at the end of the day, is that really fun for him? Obviously playing with Erik at an exclusive and brand-new place is fun. Not disputing that. But he (and I, and most normal people) aren't good enough to play golf from those distances. What exactly are you taking from the experience?

I can tell you what it was for me. After missing a birdie putt I would relax. Par putts were always less pressure.

How are you guy keeping score on this? I don’t understand the screen showing the green numbers dropping lower when someone wins a hole

is the RGC Golf app only for IPhone? Thought it was the golf community for everyone; but currently its only the golf community for 60% of the population that has an iPhone?

I cannot handle the setting of this course. It looks like Erik is playing with a Tour Pro on a Screen Saver
