There’s no break for the best players on the PGA TOUR as they zip from Pennsylvania to Connecticut for the final Signature Event of 2025 at the Travelers Championship. Leading the way is Scottie Scheffler, who returns as the defending champion. 45 of the top 50 golfers in the Official World Golf Ranking will head to TPC River Highlands, including Rory McIlroy, who has finished in the top 20 every time he has played the event. J.J. Spaun, who won the U.S. Open in incredible fashion, also heads to TPC River Highlands as a top 10 player in the Official World Golf Ranking. Joining these three is a star-studded field including Viktor Hovland, Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas and Collin Morikawa.

He did so well
After the way he played the first three rounds of the US Open, this seems like small consolation. After a lion beat you in three out of four rounds of a fight, destroying a pussycat in round 1 doesn't prove anything.
It’s not “full send” when Rory’s around 186 mph of ball speed , that’s normal for him
