An “insider” leaked that supposedly in the eleven days leading up to the Cup, the Euros played nine 18 hole rounds while the Americans played only two 9 hole rounds ( front once, back once) If true, that tells you all you need to know about why we lost and our commitment to the Ryder Cup. Why not just end it, if United States players have such little interest? Again, if the story is true
Ryder cup needs its own governing body and needs to be completely separate from the PGA. The pga is focused on money and promoting the pga, not selecting the strongest Americans. The envelope rule is ridiculous, players shouldn't be encouraged to not play. If a player cant play, he forfeits the match and loses… just like every other sport.
