Stewart Golf: Coming soon!

I watched this for the sole reason to convince myself I really do need a new driver….
The set you really wanted last year just got reduced. $$
I've found it hilarious how golfers care so much about 'appearance' and 'sound'. Seen people hit the best drives of their life but they refuse to switch drivers because 'it sounds bad'. Same with irons, etc
I just bought all new used and gave my old to a dad with kids.
I gave my driver, fairway woods and rescue to my son. That meant I had to buy new ones! In all fairness tough, those clubs were like 13 years old. The new ones are amazing!
that first transition caught me so off guard 😀
I’m using clubs from the 80s
clean my grooves every hit needed lol.
If YouTube is recommending this, then I obviously need a new set of clubs
Sorry Peter but there’s an element of self interested BS in this. Do you understand how much golf clubs cost by comparison with other luxury items ? £1400 for a set of irons , £500 for a driver and with rubbish trade in prices, these things lose money faster than a new car ! Forget the post covid boom, looking at my club course I’m sensing that is already fading. Golf is returning to being a sport of the well off.
5 signs I need new clubs:
1. I don't have a new P-wedge
2. 9 iron isn't very new
3. My 8-iron is used now.
4. 7-iron has a wear mark on the face.
5. 6-iron has a nick on the sole.
*Looks at the price of clubs….shits self.
Every club in my bag is a sign i need new clubs, hand me downs from my grandfather who last played golf 30 years ago.
So glad i watched this video after buying myself new clubs 😂
I think the most important reason to buy new clubs is because the marketing of a big brand says you will hit it further and score lower and like all things in life if you throw enough money at it you are guaranteed to improve.
i don’t think anyone has thought they don’t need new clubs
My clubs are ancient 15 years old… I know I need a new set, but an injury they may come back and A$5000 is a big investment for knee clubs if I may have to give up if my injury reoccurs. My driver is dead, I hit my 3 and 5 wood further than it. But I need to keep using it to keep my driver swing going….the Dilemmas.
I clean my clubs after every round, practice or play. I don't like debris sitting on the club, especially in storage
Pete I am 45, play 2-3 times a month in winter and double that in summer. I use taylor made 200 irons which are 24 years old. My handicap is 15 and have all ways wondered if new irons would help with getting my handicap down to single figures.
Hola Peter, wouldn't it be interesting to take a mid handicap golfer, who's been playing MANY years, with their old Callaway 2006 big bertha irons (that they had custom fit – back in the day – that they still use). Take some data from their current game .. then… fit them out with the latest greatest clubs to see whether money can actually buy happiness 🤔🤔🤔
Would me spending 4 or 5 grand on new bats actually make me a better player??!? 🤷🤷🤷
I think it would be a very interesting and entertaining experiment.. 😊
Plus… Winter is coming in the UK, and…where I live (south coast Spain) It's perfect condition for some winter content filming 😎👌 Not to mention the stunning courses available.. La Finca, Los Colinas, Altorreal, Alicante (6 par 3, 6 par 4 and 6 par 5s) plus many many more..
Asking for a friend ♥️⛳🇪🇸👍
Love the channel by the way 👌
I went from a new beginner iron set to a set of great condition 1970’s Wilson staff tour blades and I improved so fast with the old blades as it made me slow down and focus more
I've watched 2 seconds and you've already convinced me
My wife needs to watch this 😅
I’ve been on the line between getting new irons and your videos are a huge help! Thanks for what you do!
When you said "get fit" nearly fell out of my custom leather recliner. The thought of going to a gym sent shivers to my non existent muscles. I immediately called my therapist who told me to calm down and continue watching.
I love your content pete and it just keeps getting better!
Can someone just confirm that I need new clubs as I have a ladies beginner set but my handicap is 19 and I can consistently shoot around 90 I’m also 14 if that helps
I recently needed to buy new clubs well let's not say needed but I wanted to. I took a long break from the game. I had plenty of money to spend on stuff and I went out and bought some nice Mizuno's with graphite shafts because I've aged 10 years, I don't regret it for a second. Are they better than my Mizuno MP 53? In fact side-by-side they kinda look the same except for the 24 fives have a beautiful blade look at them even though they are not a blade and after one round they are beautiful.
So I think it's time for me to get rid of my old Macgregor VIP by Nicklaus irons, right!?
The Ping Eye 2s in my bag still work great. Spend the money on lessons, range balls and green fees, not clubs, IMO.
I never understood why golf influencers generalize amateur golfers like we need our hands held or need someone to tell us what to do. Fact is youre going to get better with a set you feel comfortable with than with a set that youtube says has technology and this and that.
