I've watched a lot of these videos and noticed that Adam pures his shots without returning his setup posture hands to the same place at contact. I'm curious as to the biomechanics of this. Does it have something to do with the way the body moves through impact and or the way the shaft deflects/droops? His hands are slightly above and closer to the ball at contact than they were at setup. His student in this video did the same thing. Thanks. Love this content.

Phonebooks? Someplace still manufactures those? I thought those dwindled away with the disappearance of phonebooths and prevalence of cell phones…

I have long liked the concept of the belt angled toward the club shaft and ball at address, and then rotating the pelvic region on that tilted plane. Its what I see when looking at pictures of all the Tour Pros that have been known as great ball strikers.

I've heard of the Jack Nicklaus and Rory Mcilory thought of keeping the hands under a table / razer blades. The head under a ceiling and chin over a tabletop you shared could be useful.

I knew Ben Hogan's clubs were said to have been 6-8 degrees flat by modern standards, but I didn't know that Arnold Palmer's were as well. Thanks for the new knowledge. 😉

Off topic question, but are his swings short for the drills or is that his true backswing? If it is his true backswing length, is this something you would look to change?

Dude I was just going to write a comment asking to make a video about height and in the middle of the video you talked about it. I am also 5'7 with long ass arms 😂I tried shortening irons and hated it and moved to standard length with -1 degree flat. Is there any truth that people with longer wingspan than height should have a more vertical swing and people with shorter arms should be flatter?

Such an important aspect of the golf swing. Thanks for making this clear. Happy Gilmore was right – its all in the hips!

"I call it the ……….." This guy has a name for every single piece of the swing. Love it!

I've worked and worked on "feeling" my hips are rotated to 45⁰ at impact. I took video of my swing today and it looks like I've made zero progress. My hips are almost square to the target line at impact…maybe very slightly open. They rotate nicely as I'm coming through but too late. 😬 I DK if I'm ever going to get this. When I make a conscious effort to really rotate them…totally focus on just my hips…the club face is open or I just make poor contact. 🤬
