Playing it in a few weeks – those Mizzies will be awesome and with steel shafts so much better – keep it going Matt👍

If your handicap on 3 cards is scratch, it’s really 2 because it is artificially lower than it should be on the first cards.

The good news….it's easy to see how you can improve by 4 or 5 shots by the time you start competing.
You distracted yourself with the 3 putts and took yourself out of the zone.
After the double you even talked about birdieing the last.
Keep working on it and I can definitely see you competing with the best over this upcoming season.👍

How would your handicap come out with your best 8 out of 20 rounds as per the whs

Really enjoyable three rounds of golf and very interesting to watch you going through your paces. Your overall attitude is improving enormously and getting better each round. Just when I thought you had cracked it, you lost your composure on 16 and then followed it up with more of the same on 17. Looking at the finishing line / score doesn't suit you. I know that we all do it (and you are trying to keep us entertained) but maybe hold off on looking roo far forward. Keep the faith, you are heading in the right direction and I've no doubt that by the time those championships come around, you'll be more than ready. Keep the videos going as they're the best on YouTube at the moment.

Great entertainment, are your irons a degree upright for you? Everything left with no sign of fade as with the driver. Best golf you’ve played since I’ve been watching (and that’s years) but still saved by a very wide course off the tee. Handicap is of course based on a lot more golf than this. If you go back over the last 20 rounds you’ll probably find you’re playing off 4. But still positive that you’re getting smoother and more consistent with the big stick. Heading very much in the right direction. Thanks for a great mini series!!

I feel that this channel is a man on a mission. An ordinary scratch golfer. What is the goal? Improve the golf or improve the content? Best of luck. I think you need to chat with Rick about decisions.

Do you think things would have been different if you had had a playing partner for these three rounds

7:20 using slope to know the 150 is playing 125 downhill is cheating in competition play, guarantee you’ll have assessed no penalty, but you’ve effectively signed for an incorrect score.

I quite like your content, but I think you’re kidding yourself on if you think your handicap is +0.2, and deep down I think you know it.

You’re probably a solid 2 or 3 handicap, but a bit of holiday golf in a non competitive setting is no barometer for your standard.

The course and slope rating on these courses is also highly questionable.

great vid Matt. just a quick question. what is the advantage of having a low handicap? is it just an ego thing or does it have a definite purpose?
