I tried the head cover drill once and it was just so wrong in my opinion. I couldn't create any power.

Alex, I learned that if the distance between right-hand elbow and left-hand elbow can be kept same or close will also help achieve the same result. It creates synch motion for both hands. Your view, please.

Im a beginner golfer and the Trex method has gotten me hitting more consistent, but also realized it has cut down my distance
actually, your throwing has improved over the past year.
I think the head cover drill is meant to be in the armpit on back swing but dropped on follow-thru as right arm extends. The Stack and Tilt instructors all seems to follow this technique as wells as the Natural GolfSingle Plane Swing Coaches.
