Video Description

This is helping so many golfers right now!!! You need to listen up to this new move that will 100% GET YOUR irons going longer and straighter like you have never seen before! Definitely impressing your golf friends! This is something that I have struggled with in the past and know that a lot of my golf clients have too. You will understand the key to compression with long, medium and short irons with this simple golf lesson by WORLD no.1 golfer scottie Scheffler. By keeping the body, arms and hands in line with each other, you can create a more consistent golf swing and by getting your hips out the way on the downswing from this one drill you will hit your long irons better & longer

I always get asked as a golf coach what Drill Will Make You An UNBEATABLE Iron Player (Impress your Friends in Golf). but how you do you actually achieve this consistently, we need a drill that is going to work ALL THE TIME because once connected, any golfer can simply use this unbeatable iron drill, meaning we add distance, we drop shots, we strike the golf ball longer, straighter, reduce our handicap…. the benefits are endless. What is the drill scottie Scheffler uses?

It seems like the hold of finish is much more common now. Why? Is it just a more "modern" swing, or are golfers trying to hit lower shots?

Alex, would you consider in a future video showing your viewers how you approach playing different golf holes on your course, Tee to green? 3’s, 4’s and 5’s.
    Thanks.

Hi Alex I’m hoping to get to driving range today to do some practice before my game tomorrow and will definitely be trying out some of your latest videos at the range to see how they fly. As I’m also needing averages for my clubs as it’s frustrating when playing not knowing which club to use at what distance. The 2 I know when to use is driver and putter 😂😂😂😂. Thx for all your help and support much appreciated Alex.

Perfect video with tons of instruction which was easy to understand and not convoluted. Well done.

Hi Alex. I'm a 12 handicapper that plays once a month. This year my goal was to get down to single figures. My drives are great. I have a slight inconsistency with my irons however I lose most of my shots around the green if I don't hit the green. I get the "yips" and 75% of the time fat or thin my chips or pitches. I have never had a lesson but am desperate to get better. How can you help me?

Great great great drill mate! Will definitely give this a try, luckily I can say my 5i is one of my favorite clubs in the bag and I'm confident with it…but there's always room for improvement

Does this work for short irons, and woods too? Or is there a drill similiar that will help getting all my clubs in the right position?

Easy enough. I’ll see if it works early next week

Sitting here watching the Champions tour, and just noticed …

These professionals have a very narrow stance (feet closer together than shoulder width apart)
    … even with driver 😳

    Is this a new thing?
    Do you recommend that?
… or is it because they’re seniors?
    (like me)

Who would benefit from a narrower stance?
    Thoughts? 🤔

Class act as always Alex. Do you have a tip or drill to get my follow through power fully committed till the club comes to rest behind my head? I tend to swing with decent power, but almost fake the finish, whereas I’d like the club to stop behind my head purely because there’s no where else it can go! Practice swing is perfect, loads of speed till the end, but it’s like a psychological block when committing to a real strike. ( 9 hcp)

@AlexElliotGolf Was doing a trackman practice session the other day, and it showed me that I hit my driver off the heel side a lot, even when I line up with the driver more off the toe like you showed in a past video. Club path was still in-to-out, but I'm not really sure what else I was doing to cause heel strikes with driver.

Did the tee-peg drill yesterday. As a 6 hcp this was an excellent tip. Just focusing on peg straight back at belt buckle at impact was great. My hands were slightly off or can get out front. This made for a great round of striking. Thank you and Scottie!

Definitely trying this at the range next time.

Would love to see a video of a workout plan for a range visit as I feel I go a bit haphazardly and hit a few balls with each club
