this should be studied in schools 💞✨
adam you continue to be the best
Same with driver??
Is this the same with the putter?!😂😉
I get the club in the 45 degree wrist hinge but how do I go from there to the set position without cupping my wrist. When I put pressure down on club to hinge it up to set the club it cups my wrist slightly at the top. I just don't know how to set the club after the takeaway
Always the best Adam, many thanks
This was really good instruction.
Adam. You should do a video on woods and longer clubs
Awesome content guys as always! I wonder what’s Adam’s suggestion on practice and how often 🤔
Right
The 10% turn to hands hip high back reminds me of an old Nick Price drill. He would take his right hand off the club and let his right hand and arm hand down at address. He'd start the left shoulder and left hand swinging down the feet line like you advocate. When the left arm would make contact with the hanging right arm (swinging under it sort of) he'd put the right hand back on the grip, and then turn back to get that remaining 90% as you say. https://youtu.be/I0UcdsRim7k?si=hE-qzvK7CelQ0hxQ&t=35
completely different. great lesson!
Ben Hogan has a small lateral shift forward before rotation it is easy to see .
Pure gold. Thank you as always!
Such a great explanation. I've been working on takeaway and backswing and have to feel like i'm only taking the club to first parallel but when i watch it back on video its a full swing. You really do have to so exaggerate change to actually see any difference. My "short" swings yesterday resulted in 180 yard 7 irons and I'm 50 and stiff as a board! I always took the club way to inside and been fighting it for years. Thanks Adam for fixing this with these great drills and clear explanations.
Are you saying that the arms and chest pull together 10% the rest of the turn is just body turn?
Awesome! It’s amazing how you can know all the pieces but can’t fit them together until a great instructor can help you get it right
You seem to use a wrists move away from the ball vs, quiet hands and wrists. Which is the best way to a correct takeaway.
