The PGA TOUR heads back to Houston this week for the Texas Children’s Houston Open at Memorial Park Golf Course where Tony Finau returns to defend his title. The American has been inconsistent in 2024 but he’s still recorded a T6 among three top-20s in his last six starts. He also holds a course-record-tying 62 from the second round in 2022. FedExCup and World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler returns to action after his dramatic win at THE PLAYERS Championship two weeks ago. Scheffler has won two events in a row this season on the PGA TOUR (Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard prior to his triumph at TPC Sawgrass) and has not finished outside the top 20 in any event this season. He’s looking to become the first golfer to win three-straight events on the PGA TOUR since 2017. Wyndham Clark will also be teeing it up in Texas. The only golfer who has beaten him in his last two starts is the current World No. 1. Clark also won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am earlier in 2024 and claimed 16th at Memorial Park in 2022. Others to look out for are Jason Day, Will Zalatoris and Valspar Championship winner Peter Malnati.

That was simply one of best rounds of golf I've ever seen. By best, I mean beautiful. Every swing was gorgeous.

I'd love to see tony keep really using his speed on that driver.. i feel like he is always holding back when in reality if he swings hard he way at the top

Is it just me or does his swing look very unorthodox and all arms?

Tony is on fire, I had my 1st legit Eagle last Tuesday, on a member tees
523 yd par 5, driver hit well, then 3 wood to green and BOOM 12 ft putt made for Eagle, thought I was Tyggah

When he’s on… nothing really like it 😏

After the last 4 holes he had to feel like he was on top of the world!

Wow, what a unique swing, he can get so hot w/ the putter, I really like Tony. He's so humble during the interview and his personality makes him so likeable, it's cool seeing him happy and winning, nice 62, great stuff, take it into the weekend and defend for another win!

Most unorthodox swing Finau, Rham or Furyk? Good advice, one shot at a time don't think about score good shots equals good score.

tech ruins sports and forces the games to be played by either giraffs or wildebeasts. no talent or skill needed other than height and weight… boring…😢

I didn't know much about Tony before watching his full swing episode. The man is a gem. What a great story.
