Golf channel should stick to golf, not looking to instigate nothing burgers. Channel needs a complete overhaul.

I think what Luke was pointing out is that the team that plays for pride alone, doesn't collect a participation trophy for losing. If they lose they get nothing. It isn't about wanting to win, it is about not wanting to lose.

Why do many of them live and all of them play professionally here then?? I do not see a lot of Americans moving their entire families overseas to play professionally

$500 dollar tickets, $15 dollar Beers. There is nothing wrong with them get paid to send to Charity. Why not let them say who they want to give to. Who the hell is getting all of the other money. I can't imagine what the broadcast rights alone cost.

If they weren't motivated enough by representing their country, but needed Luke Donald to fire them up, what does that say about them.

Randall Chamblee is such a blowhole. Tries so desperately hard to remain relevant.

Luke Donald should have just been looking straight at Patrick Cantlay

Dumb….. Are you broadcasters getting paid to be there?? You're broadcasting for your country … Time is money and not paying them is to say their time and effort isn't valuable. You guys should make good ole Brandel the "designated volunteer broadcaster"…. Listen to him run his nonsense opinions about that.

That guy in the middle could easily be shut up with one simple observation: Each one of them is getting paid for their work at the Ryder Cup, and I don't hear them saying anything about donating their check to charity.

I mean let's face it ! The USA have made a Multi billion Business out of Golf, as usual, making it more "Democratic" only to bring in more cash and shouting Hooligans. It's all about Money in the US isn't it ? Very far away from sport values and certainly very far away from the Ryder Cup values…. A touch of class and noble cause would be nice, but than again, times are changing, as Presidents are….

LOL…Team Mercia upset? I don't think so… and its none of your business what they do with the money. The idea that the Europeans are here and each player is paying for everything out of their pocket is asinine. You announcers are getting paid….Advertisers are getting paid. This is not about Rich man Poor man… Most of the Team Europe lives here in America ..why? Because they want to get paid….and they love Florida… Hatton and Rahm went tot he LIV to get paid… Enough about the money. You bring your guys we got ours… TEE IT UP ($15 Beer ?) maybe they should play the next one in Augusta

Well done Luke , spoiled crybabys shouldn't of asked for the $$$ in the first place, if they are in it for a paycheck , there's probably a liv contract available for every player on both teams
