By: Golf Monthly | Duration: 00:08:43

Video Description

This hybrid was launched a little over 10 years ago and even against today’s competition it stacks up pretty well. In fact, there’s a case for it to be crowned one of the best golf hybrids ever made. It’s no surprise to see it still feature in the bag of a multiple major champion! Joe Ferguson puts this iconic hybrid to the test on the range to see how it performs and whether there’s value to be had on the second hand market should you be shopping for a new club in this area of the bag.

► We teamed up with second hand golf club retailer golfclubs4cash to create this video, check out its website for the best prices on preowned equipment: https://www.golfclubs4cash.co.uk/

► Do you remember using this hybrid back in the day or do you still have one now? Let us know in the comments below! 💬

Callaway X2 hot pro hybrid…..unbelievable club, I’d back it against anything since. Goes miles but also forgiving

Any ADAMS hybrid would blow this out of the water…. Why do you think TM bought Adams. The Adams tech & ideas is still in new TM clubs being sold today!!

Old school is the best school. Still playing Cobra King LD F speed from 2008. Outperforms all Ping, Titleist and even newer Cobra’s.
Would love to see some retro Ping Iron reviews compared to newer models.

I miss the sldr fairway woods😢. They were my first high grade woods and man were they awesome.

My vote is for the Cobra King F7 hybrid – no problem getting it in the air, fully adjustable, a real weapon.
