Mention the “c” word and golf coaches’ faces all drop…..🙄
But, bugger me, carrying a 7 iron 198 yards is mad!
I had a lesson yesterday and it was almost a carbon copy of what Pete just experienced…just wish I could hit it like him!

I loved this…Pete’s knowledge of his own swing and swing feel and understanding the input to refine the swing was great. Top shelf coach banter too! Well done

Listening to Pete answer questions like, "How do you hit a fade where you don't squeeze it" is next level stuff. Love the content!

I am currently swinging so rubbish! My launch on my 7 iron is around 26-28 degrees! I’m so steep I’m digging trenches.

That focus of hip turn to open up the inside path is excellent stuff. Great swing thought, used it at the sim yesterday and was able to hit a few tight draws.

Years ago I hit a draw, but for the last couple of years I have had to play wearing a back support, which as reduced my hip rotation. So I loosened up the back brace, to allow a bit more hip rotation and OMG, hitting a tiny draw and 15 yards longer with driver and 1 club longer through the rest of the bag. No swing change, just hips! That's for the video Pete, and a special thanks to the boys at Me and My Golf 😊❤

Absolute cracker of a video, just love the simplicity of the advice for maximum help. It just shows what a good lesson can do for anyone 🏌️‍♂️⛳️

I think Andy and Piers should make a "Team, @meandmygolf "…… I'm willing to be the next teammate on that team! Great job Pete!

For my entire golf career, everyone I know said “the best way to destroy your swing is to take a lesson”, but I think I’m finally ready to try. Ive seen that the higher the handicap, the more negative people are towards lessons.

Super stuff Piers and Andy. You must admit that you're teaching a reasonably talented golfer, which helps. However, good coaches know the best fix for the impact quickly, so well done.

I love this. It's reaffirmed my recent discovery that when I rotate further on the backswing I seem to get better strikes. Pete's now ready foe the Open Quest!

Fantastic video. I struggle with hip turn but now see the importance to tone things up

An excellent video as a reminder that even pros need a helping hand. Good insight with the rotation aspects and hand position at the top.

What a great lesson. I love how everything was broke down and explained simply. All in the hips Pete 😉

Why couldn’t you see weight distribution? Stood on a swing catalyst?

That wave at the end. I could feel the child-like excitement chasing through you, Pete. Avoided watching this thinking it would be dull! How wrong I was. The commentary and interaction between everyone was superb.

Watching this for selfish reasons: Had shoulder surgery. Have nerve condition in my left arm/wrist. I HAVE plunged my left hand into a bucket of ice water. Playing again soon after one year layoff. My swing is currently "suspect". Oversize grips on the work bench…waiting. This video should be helpful. Hopefully.

This video was great. I recently started doing more hip turn in my backswing and saw immediate improvement similar to Pete (although not nearly the distance that Pete can hit 😅). I was concerned about the In to Out swing path numbers I was seeing on the simulator (similar to what Pete was getting), but having Piers and Andy explain it and the fix for if it starts to turn into a hook was exactly what I needed. Also, I agree with Piers, I love watching your swing Pete. Almost as much as George Bryan's swing. 😄

I would prefer the shot shape of the original swing. Double digits in-to-out isn't ideal to me.

Super show the turning of the hips a game changer as I do suffer with the hands out in front and coming over the top.

Couldn’t you just lift the left heel like Jack Nicholas. Worked quite well for him lol

That was awesome. I got more out of that 27 minutes than I have gotten out of all the videos I have watched combined on the golf swing. Great stuff! Content like this is why this has become my favorite golf channel. I am now going back and devouring all your videos. Thanks!
