The DP World Tour heads to Japan this week for the ISPS HANDA – CHAMPIONSHIP at the Taiheiyo Club. Matthieu Pavon will be teeing it up this week. He’s been on top form this season with his most recent success being a debut T12 finish at the Masters to earn a return visit to Augusta National next year. He also finished solo fifth at the Porsche Singapore Classic in March and made history by becoming the first French winner on the PGA TOUR since 1907 in January by winning the Farmers Insurance Open. Jesper Svensson will be in the field this week. He claimed victory at the Porsche Singapore Classic last month and claimed a 2nd place finish at the Bahrain Championship in February. Svensson is just one spot behind leader Keita Nakajima on the Asian Swing and can guarantee a place in the field at the Genesis Scottish Open with a strong performance. A home favourite Rikuya Hoshino will also fancy his chances at the Taiheiyo Club this week. He claimed victory at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters in February and finished runner-up here two years ago. Others to look out for are Yannik Paul, Dylan Frittelli and Ewen Ferguson.

JPGAは仕事しないのね。
DP World tour videos often too short. We will appreciate longer highlights.
I know it's a big job … thanks a lot 😊
Got to see him win it all today in person. Congrats!
His swing looks like a combination of Rory and Tommy Fleetwood. His body language showed he had confidence in what he was doing. Great stuff!
Great victory hat.
Very ben Hogan swing, well played.
What an awesome looking trophy
今年はJGTOから優勝者が出て良かったねー。
しかも桂川選手とは、このチャンスを生かして世界に羽ばたいてほしい。
What a swing machine! I wish him all the best. I'm quite sure he'll get to the PGA.
Make these longer please! One hour would be fine!
The fact the US hosts 3 majors and the rest of the world outside the UK doesn't host any is a crime. It is time we switched the PGA with a world major that goes to places like Asia, Australia and Central/South America. Golf is a global game and the DP Tour is living proof of that.
大きな大きな
チャンスを掴んだ桂川選手おめでとうございます。
半田会長、来年もこの大会を
なんとか開催してください。
もうJPGAなんて
腐った組織には
何かを望む価値などありません。
“How does it win to win on home soil”
I'd have guessed the course record to be better than 63 but that only makes Yuto's achievement more impressive, preceding this round with two 65s.
Had the Pleasure of Caddying for Yuto, in 23 @ the New Zealand Open, lovely kid, great game, has played a British open and a Us open..great to see ❤
