YouTube needs a ❤ reaction for these videos.
Great breakdown, with a script error at 4 minute mark. Prestwick may have hosted 24 Opens, but likely not between 1860 – 1825. Please make more of these historic videos GD!
Great video…would love to see a breakdown of the fifth at Royal Melbourne (West)…another classic par 3
The 16th at Scottsdale would be so cool, if you haven't done that one already
I'm new to golf, but I'm gonna play this hole on PGA Tour for Xbox just to experience it😃
i can get a 3 but i can never get the 2
These videos are excellent
I'm putting one on my course when I build it.
Great stuff. My favorite videos on youtube!
Wow… what a great video. The footage of Gene Sarazen's ace was an unexpected treat.
Gene Sarazen’s final farewell here
Everybody loves these… Derek does a great job of explaining the details. Sooooo many holes you could do – how about that Par 7 in Japan? 900 yards of fun.
Hole 16 at royal portrush, hole 4 at royal county down or hole 9 at RDC
Man I want to go play all these courses so bad, until I'm in one of those bunkers. Looks hilarious.
How about the 11th at Merion? I grew up near there and understand it wasn’t originally built that way. Many of the holes played across the road until they purchased the land where the 11th green and 12th tee now sit.
Erin Hills #9!
This series has to continue. Incredible
Riveting stuff. Wow!
Absolutely fascinating.
Would love to see a study of 6, 7, and 8 at Pebble Beach (or 8 if we had to pick just one).
Troon Country Club in Scottsdale 13th hole is a replica of The Postage Stamp designed by Tom Weiskopf😊
I love these so so so much, one of my favorite things on YouTube. Could I ask the audio mixer to please turn down the music slights like around 5:45 for example
Great vid 👌
This guy talks like an AI bot
Why can't americans pronounce anything properly.
Stay half an hour away could not get tickets 😢
Golf Digest with decent content for once, who would have thought?
The best YouTube video I've seen in a long time.
You’re wrong about the “original” hole, for the eighth. That green was o ly added in early 90’s as the winter green.
during the 2024 Open, rumors were that Brian Harman landed his tee shot in the 8 foot pot hole bunker, after 15 minutes, a search team was sent in and an APB was issued. It was later determined that Shane Lowry found him. Lowry was quoted as saying: "yes, I'm quite familiar with that bunker"
Great Video. I must refer to it in the revised edition of "Willie Fernie Champion Golfer 1883".
I'd like to see a look at #1 at Machrihanish Golf Club, my favorite par 4 in Scotland (and I've played the Road Hole).
I would love to see you do 4 at Myopia Hunt Club. Very Tough Green
❤
